A break from bugging office :)

Hmm… That was a lovely cloudy afternoon… I and my friend Meenakshi went for lunch to cafeteria and had to eat some non-sense stuff there having no other option… After a nice chat together and in such a lovely weather, we did not feel like going back to the office to break our heads with those boring boxes (oh! You might be calling them as computers)… Felt like going on a long drive… felt like having an ice cream too after such a tasteless lunch… But could not help going back to desk, after thinking about manager’s face once…

The work was bugging me so much and after sometime my brain went to sleep mode… Could not come back to active even after a small coffee break… So, I decided not to waste time and could not resist going out on a drive… I don’t have a bike… I was wondering if my colleague would lend me hers for an hour or so… She said ‘OK but take care’… That was fantastic… Took my camera (can never do without it) and went to meenu’s desk and pulled her out of office along with me… he he… I know… I disturbed her work too… But I don’t want to miss her company and also… I don’t want her to miss such fun as well…

I decided to show her a hill just behind a temple which I daily pass-by in my office cab… And also I always wanted to have a small photo shoot there…

We loved the place a lot… It was so calm and cool… No one else was there… We headed to top of that small hill from the temple where we parked our bike… Wow!!! We were speechless seeing the view of coconut trees like a green carpet from the top of that hill…

There was a huge water tank on top of that small hill around which a small path way was laid…

We tried to explore a bit of flora and fauna around that place…

I tried capturing a red and black Chameleon I never saw before but by the time I went there, it escaped into shrubs… Shit!!! I wish I had a DSLR camera… So that I would have zoomed and captured it before it would have escaped… I was damn angry on it for not smiling at my camera and decided I won’t take any portrait of it… Then just beside the rock from where it escaped there were these lovely wild flowers…

Then I saw another Chameleon which posed for my camera… Though it was not so colorful, I loved it as it gave me a nice look into my lens…

Not to mention that we ate yummy ice cream while returning back… Don’t be so jealous ok… But just take some time out of your busy schedules and do something which re-energizes you… It might be just a talk with close friend… It might be reading a book or painting something… But never get too mechanical…

My Wedding

The best part about my wedding is that- seeing my parents so happy... I never even thought that my wedding would give them such an immense satisfaction and happiness... To see them like that, I could have done anything in the world...

There is another best thing - the special bond it creates among your close ones... New relations and new friendships start… All my friends at different stages of my life met one other and turned out as a cool single little gang… :) You can make out the happiness of all your beloved ones seeing you getting married... It might have been like this for them- "The naughtiest girl I had ever known is marrying and is going to get responsible" or may be rather “I pity this poor guy marrying such a monkey like swetha” or might be “How lucky he is to marry our swethu” (which I strongly believe that none of my friends would have thought… Lol…)

Wedding was real special for me as I enjoyed each every part of it… I made sure that our priest explained us the meaning of each ritual we performed… It was so special to perform them all after knowing why you are doing it rather than performing it mechanically…

Important thing to mention is I was damn careful about my wedding photographer not just because I was a photography freak but because those will be the main source to recollect memories someday when I had to walk with 3 legs… I am totally satisfied with my wedding photography done by sesham…

I agree that wedding was tiring too but still that left lifetime memories to cherish…

It really took me some time to get adjusted with my new house + work at office and new life with him… Now I love my life like this, as I have every quality in my hubby that I could ask for… :) As well as I have great in-laws as sweet as my parents… I still feel I am the luckiest soul on earth as always…

Pelli Sandadi
